MTAX AI by Tenpaso Ltd

MTAX AI — Invited Professional Pilot Terms

Effective 15 September 2026 · Version pilot-terms-2026-09-15

1. Who provides the service

MTAX AI (also displayed as AITAX in the Windows application) is provided by Tenpaso Ltd., a company registered in Malta under number C 116371. Its registered office is SOHO ST. JULIANS PUNCHBOWL CENTRE UNIT P033, TRIQ ELIJA ZAMMIT, SAN GILJAN, STJ 3154, Malta. Contact: operations@tenpaso.com.

2. Your pilot access

This pilot is for invited professional users evaluating the Windows application for business purposes. Access requires an account and an active licence issued by Tenpaso. Downloading the installer does not create an account or grant access. Your invitation identifies the permitted users and any duration or usage limits.

Tenpaso does not charge for this complimentary pilot. Your AI provider account, subscription, usage charges and internet connection are separate and remain your responsibility. The pilot does not automatically become a paid subscription. Any future paid service requires separate agreement.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to install and use the application for the agreed evaluation. Do not share account credentials, circumvent access controls or use another organisation’s account or research. Rights in the software remain with Tenpaso and its licensors; separate third-party licence notices continue to apply.

3. What the application does

MTAX AI provides AI-assisted Maltese VAT research. It discusses your question, asks for clarification where needed and presents an understanding for your confirmation before starting research. Research and review stages are automated AI processing; they do not represent work performed or approved by a human accountant, manager, auditor or tax authority.

The resulting response may include source references and explanations intended to assist your review. A reference is not a guarantee that a conclusion is correct, complete, current or applicable to your circumstances. The application does not submit tax returns, communicate a tax position to an authority or make a professional decision on your behalf.

AI can make mistakes. Have this response reviewed and confirmed by a qualified tax professional before relying on it.

Independently check the facts, applicable dates, cited law and resulting tax treatment before advising a client, filing a return, entering a transaction or taking other action. Do not use the pilot as your only record of work or rely on it to meet a deadline.

4. Your information and connected AI account

Provide accurate information and correct misunderstandings before confirming the research question. Only submit information you are entitled to disclose and that is necessary for the enquiry. Follow your organisation’s confidentiality and data-protection requirements. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information in a tax question.

The application communicates with Tenpaso’s central service and the AI provider you connect. Intake messages are processed by the connected AI provider before you confirm the research question. This is not an entirely local or offline application. The Privacy Notice explains data processing; separate arrangements may be needed before you submit client personal data.

Keep your connected account secure and comply with the provider’s applicable terms. Provider availability, model access, account limits and charges can affect completion. Keep the Windows application running during a research session. An interrupted or failed session may require support and does not guarantee a completed answer.

5. Pilot changes, support and ending access

This is an evaluation release. Features may change and the service may be interrupted. No response-time or availability service level is included in this complimentary pilot. Contact operations@tenpaso.com for access problems or support; never email passwords, API keys or unnecessary client information.

You may stop using the application and request account closure at that address. Tenpaso may suspend access to address security incidents, misuse or a breach of these terms, and may end the pilot. Account closure does not by itself mean that all stored records are immediately erased; the Privacy Notice and applicable data-handling arrangements govern retention and requests.

6. Responsibility and legal rights

Tenpaso does not promise error-free research, a particular tax outcome or acceptance by a tax authority. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not contain a blanket waiver of Tenpaso’s responsibility or an agreement that an AI warning removes all liability.

These terms are governed by Maltese law, subject to applicable mandatory rights. Contact Tenpaso first about a dispute so that it can attempt to resolve it.

7. Versions

The terms applicable to the pilot are identified by their version and effective date. A later revision will not silently replace the text previously accepted. Tenpaso will communicate material changes and obtain a new agreement where required.
